
Russian Attack on Ukraine’s Kryvyi Rih Results in Three Fatalities
KYIV – A Russian missile strike on the central Ukrainian city of Kryvyi Rih overnight led to the tragic deaths of a 12-year-old boy and two elderly women, aged 75 and 79, according to regional governor Serhiy Lysak.
Lysak shared the news on Telegram, describing the attack as a “terrifying” assault on a city in the dead of night while residents were asleep. He reported that three additional individuals were injured and transported to the hospital with moderate injuries.
The attack resulted in the destruction of two buildings, with 20 others suffering damage. Kryvyi Rih, known for its steel production, is located just over 40 miles from the closest area under Russian control and frequently experiences air strikes.
