SEC Extends Deadlines for ARK 21Shares and VanEck Spot Ether ETF Applications
The United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has postponed its decision on the approval of spot Ether (ETH) exchange-traded fund applications submitted by ARK 21Shares and VanEck.
In separate notices issued on September 27, the SEC announced that it will extend the review period regarding a proposed rule change that would permit the listing of spot ETH ETFs from these companies on the Cboe BZX Exchange. The commission noted it had not received any public comments on either application and has set new deadlines for a potential decision on December 25 and December 26, respectively.
