Around 2,000 Hotel Workers Strike at Hilton Worldwide’s Largest Hotel
NEW YORK – Approximately 2,000 hotel workers initiated a strike on Tuesday at the largest Hilton hotel in the world as contract negotiations broke down, according to the Unite Here Union.
The employees at the Hilton Hawaiian Village have decided to remain on strike until they secure new contracts. Over 4,000 hotel workers are currently walking off the job at Hilton, Hyatt, and Marriott locations in Honolulu, San Diego, and San Francisco.
