Three Migrants Dead, 25 Feared Missing After Boat Sinks Near Samos
ATHENS (Reuters) – Greek state television reported on Monday that three migrants have died and five others have been rescued near the island of Samos in Greece.
Authorities believe that additional individuals may be missing, according to the broadcast.
A search and rescue operation is currently underway, involving four coastguard vessels and a helicopter, off the rugged coastline of Agios Isidoros, located in the northwestern area of the island.
