Roman Storm, the co-founder of the controversial cryptocurrency mixer Tornado Cash, who was arrested in August, has pleaded not guilty to all charges related to money laundering and violations of United States sanctions.

On September 6, a thread on X (formerly Twitter) from Inner City Press revealed that Storm entered his not guilty plea before a judge in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. He, along with alleged co-conspirator Roman Semenov, faces charges of conspiracy to commit money laundering, conspiracy to commit sanctions violations, and conspiracy to operate an unlicensed money-transmitting business.
