Trump Leads Harris by 2 Points in North Carolina, New Poll Reveals
A recent poll has revealed a close contest in North Carolina between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris, with only a two-point difference separating them.
According to the survey conducted by a prominent news organization, Trump holds a slight lead with 50% support from likely voters, while Harris is at 48%. This difference falls within the margin of error of the poll.
Additionally, around 1% of respondents indicated support for another candidate, and 2% remain undecided.
As a key swing state, North Carolina’s outcome could significantly impact the upcoming election. Another poll conducted by East Carolina University also reports a similarly tight race, with Trump leading by two points.
In the gubernatorial race, North Carolina Attorney General Josh Stein (D) appears to be leading significantly against Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson (R), boasting 54% support compared to Robinson’s 38%.
The report highlights that 80% of registered voters expressed they were “extremely motivated” to participate in the election. Among Trump supporters, 83% reported high motivation to vote, whereas 81% of Harris supporters felt the same.
The survey, conducted from September 25 to 29, included 1,001 participants and has a margin of error of 3.5 percentage points.
