WASHINGTON – Donald Trump is scheduled to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy on Friday, following a separate meeting with British Prime Minister Keith Starmer on Thursday evening.

The Republican presidential candidate disclosed these upcoming meetings during a press conference on Thursday. Both meetings are set to take place at Trump’s Trump Tower property in New York.

Zelenskiy and Starmer are in the United States to participate in the U.N. General Assembly and have joined a number of foreign officials seeking to engage with Trump in the lead-up to the Nov. 5 election.

On Wednesday, Trump held discussions with Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the president of the United Arab Emirates, a meeting confirmed by two sources familiar with the situation.

The Trump campaign did not respond to requests for comments regarding the meeting with the UAE president.

Trump’s decision to engage with Zelenskiy came after several days of suggestions from campaign officials and close associates of the former president that such a meeting would be unlikely.
