Turkish Economy Projected to Shift Towards Balanced Growth

In a recent statement, Turkish Finance Minister Mehmet Simsek indicated that the growth composition of the economy is expected to become more balanced this year, with a reduced reliance on domestic demand.

Simsek noted that leading indicators suggest a continued rebalancing of economic growth into the third quarter, following Turkey’s announcement of a 2.5% year-on-year growth rate for the second quarter.
