US Military Announces Death of 37 Militants in Syria Airstrikes This Month, Reports Reuters
The U.S. military announced on Sunday that it conducted airstrikes this month in Syria, resulting in the deaths of 37 Islamist militants. Among those killed were several senior leaders from both the Islamic State and an Al Qaeda affiliate known as Hurras al-Din, which operates in the region.
U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) confirmed in a statement that the airstrikes occurred on September 16 and September 24, stating that there was no evidence of civilian casualties.
