U.N. Must Endeavor to End Israeli Occupation ‘Within Set Timeframe’ – Reuters

UNITED NATIONS – Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas urged the United Nations on Wednesday to intensify efforts to “end the Israeli occupation of the state of Palestine within a specific timeframe.”

Speaking to the United Nations General Assembly, Abbas cautioned that if the two-state solution collapses, Palestinians would have no choice but to “continue the struggle and demand full rights for all inhabitants of historic Palestine.”
