Vitalik Buterin Envisions Use of Bitcoin Cash (BCH) at Convenience Stores

The value of cryptocurrency can be realized through everyday, small-scale spending, according to Vitalik Buterin, co-founder of a prominent blockchain platform. During a private event in San Francisco last week, he discussed the future of cryptocurrencies, stating:

“I want to be able to walk into a convenience store, get a card, and pay a small fee to start using cryptocurrency. Allowing people to utilize small amounts of cryptocurrency for daily transactions is important not just within the crypto space but also for various blockchain use cases that extend beyond finance. Even non-financial blockchain applications require transaction fees. If we can minimize this barrier with a single visit to the convenience store, it would make starting to use cryptocurrency much simpler,” Buterin remarked.
