IMF Approves $210 Million Arrangement for Liberia
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) announced on Wednesday that its executive board has approved an arrangement totaling approximately $210 million for Liberia, including an immediate disbursement of about $8 million.
This support is designed to assist the Liberian authorities in their reform efforts to tackle macroeconomic imbalances and create a solid foundation for growth driven by the private sector, extending beyond the natural resource sector.
