XP.GG Gaming Platform Launches with Universal Battle Pass

Melbourne, Australia, August 1st, 2024: Perion Labs is thrilled to announce the launch of XP.GG, a groundbreaking gaming platform that rewards players for enhancing their skills in popular titles such as Fortnite, Counter-Strike 2, and Overwatch. With a Universal Battle Pass that spans all games featured on the platform, XP.GG is set to kick off on August 1 with Fortnite, followed by competitions in Counter-Strike 2 and Overwatch later in the month, and more games added monthly.

The initial launch will introduce Season 0 of the Battle Pass with Fortnite, leading into competitions for Counter-Strike 2 and Overwatch later in August. Upcoming titles to be featured include League of Legends, Valorant, Dota 2, Apex Legends, Mobile Legends, PUBG, as well as AAA web3 games like Shrapnel. To ensure quality game selection, Perion has collaborated with various game developers and esports organizations, including Talon Esports and GIANTX.

A Universal Battle Pass that Rewards Gamers

XP.GG allows players to undertake challenges designed to improve their gaming abilities, which in turn levels up their Universal Battle Pass. The prizes in Season 0 are substantial, featuring a $6,000 gaming PC setup, a Fortnite-themed Secret Labs chair, a PS5, and a $1,000 CS2 knife, among others, totaling over $10,000. As more gamers engage and excel, prizes will rise in value with each new season.

XP.GG: Gamer Tested, Gamer Approved

The team at Perion Labs conducted extensive testing with an XP.GG prototype earlier this year to understand what gamers truly seek from a gaming platform. Initially offering smaller rewards like virtual currency, they observed a clear desire among gamers for tangible rewards that encourage skill improvement in their beloved titles.

Season 0 Starts Now

Starting August 1, gamers can register on XP.GG and begin earning rewards through Season 0 of the Battle Pass with Fortnite. Counter-Strike 2 and Overwatch competitions will follow later in August.

A special multiplier is available in Season 0, allowing players who reach Level 5 in their Battle Pass to gain a bonus for future seasons. Achieving Level 5 grants a 5% multiplier for Season 1, Level 10 offers a 10% multiplier, and so forth. These multipliers will reset each season but carry over earned bonuses for those who hit Level 5 in Season 0.
